The 9th Annual Wanderers track meet is returning to the Roxborough High School track on AUGUST 27 at 6 p.m.

To ensure things run more smoothly and end sooner, the event now starts at 6 p.m. (registration starts at 5:30) plus we have pre-registered a large number of participants into designated heats.

On Tuesday August 27 starting at 6:00 pm, Wanderers will hold their 9th Annual Track Meet at the Roxborough High School track (see MAP links below).

Rain Date: In the event of bad weather (thundershowers or heavy rain), the following Tueday (Aug 23rd) at 6:00 pm has been set up as a rain date for the event. If the event will be postponed, we will post a prominent notice on our home page on the day of the event.

Events (In order):

  1. 400 Meters (gun for first heat at 6:00 p.m.)
  2. One Mile Run
  3. 3,200 meters
  4. 800 Meters
  5. Relay Medley (1,200, 400, 800, 1,600 meters)

Events are open to all ages and abilities.

Pricing: $5 entry fee for each race. $3 per race for multiple races. Students free. Medley relay is free.

Food: award-winning BBQ will be provided free of charge.

Details: Tuesday August 27, 2013. The first gun will sound at 6:00 p.m. (so please arrive a little early to leave time for registration.)

Directions: The track is located on Pechin Street between Fountain and Hermitage Sts. One block West of Ridge Ave. Check out Mapquest or Google Maps for a map and/or directions.
