The Wanderers track meet is returning to the Roxborough High School track on August 26. (The rain date August 27.)

The Wanderers may have sent a smaller contingent to this year's Half-Wit Half, with only one of last year's six award winners returning, but they still managed to pull of an impressive double victory, with Helen Cheung and Chris Verry blowing away the competition and bringing home two of the most prestigious prizes in the Pretzel City universe.

After months of working and tinkering, we are finally live !

The overall objective of the major web site overhaul is to make our website more interactive and useful to our members.

Here are some of the specific improvements:

Seven Wanderers continued to display their fine athletic prowess by competing in two triathlons over the past few weeks. The first was the Anthracite Triathlon on July 20th in Jim Thorpe, PA consisting of a 1.5k swim, 40k bike & 10k run.

With several grueling hills on the bike and run, this tri was not for the faint of heart (or body). Refusing intimidation, Heather Wesner and Scott McCracken both selected this event as their first tri and performed amazingly!

Five Wanderers participated in two Tri's (Rhode Island Half Ironman 70.3 & Diamond in the Rough) recently.

On Sunday, June 22nd 2008 seven Wanderers ventured up to Reading, PA for more Ron Horn trail race madness. The Wanderers are by now an intimidating fixture and a force to be reckoned with at these hardcore trail events.

The Wanderers starred in all facets of the Wissahickon Trail Classic held on June 7. First let’s talk about the results. They were impressive.

Nicole Saint-Louis (left in photo) needs our help!! She has entered the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 19. She is participating in the Team in Training program to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Word has slowly filtered back to Philadelphia from the backwoods of Berks County about more glory achieved by the Wanderers at the the Got the Nerve? Triathlon held on May 24. It was all good news! Wanderers grabbed a couple of first place finishes.
