Wanderers to Host X-Country Race with Chestnut Hill Academy

The Wissahickon Wanderers and Chestnut Hill Academy are holding an open invitational cross-country race on Saturday, September 21.

The three-mile grass course will begin at the athletic fields at Chestnut Hill Academy and then proceed around the Philadelphia Cricket Club golf course.

The race is scheduled to start at 11:30 am. The open cross country race will follow the Chestnut Hill Academy Invitational Race which is for area high school students.

A walk-through of the course will be held at 9:45.

Entry fee is $10. Medals will be awarded to winners at a presentation during the half time of the Chestnut Hill Academy football game.

The Chestnut Hill Academy athletic fields are located on Willow Grove Avenue across from the school in Chestnut Hill.
