Battle Elements in Kelly Drive 10K

shock troops prevailed over brutal weather conditions at the
Northeast Road Runners Club Winter 10K on March 2. Rain lashed
down driven by strong winds but still more than 150 runners
showed up to compete on the out and back course along Kelly
Drive.
Paul Hines opened up his racing season in impressive fashion
with a 9th place finish in a time of 37:27. Paul ran at a
pace just slightly over six minutes a mile. Chris Moore splashed
to a very solid 50th place finish in a time of 45:05. Meanwhile
George Barilla and Rock Steady finished 141 and 142 respectively
in times of 1 hour and 37 seconds. Sanjeev Balhara also looked
strong in his first race in many months. Tom Guano beset by
years of knee problems still finished smiling in a time of
1:07:48.
