Wanderers were Stompin' at the Philadelphia Distance Run

Wissahickon Wanderers registered a number of excellent performances at the Philadelphia Distance Run on September 21. Jeff Hayes finished 87 in a field of almost 7,000 runners completing the half marathon course in 1:15:52. Jeff was 5th in his 40+ age division.

Chris Moore recorded a super time of 1:26:46 to finish 369th. Barbara Gorka was equally impressive finishing in 1:29:13 to place 68th among the women and 8th in her age division.

Beth Johnston ran her usual strong Distance Run finishing 1157th overall in a time of 1:38:17. Michele Tulino, coming back from a round of injuries, recorded a time of 1:51:47, while Susan Hurrey completed the course in 1:53.

Rounding out the Wanderers line-up, Megan Boyle was timed in 1:58:31, with Distance Run fixture Scott Quitel a second behind.
