Tyler Arboretum 10k

On April 3, 2005, Wanderers Susan, Chris, and Petra set out to conquer yet another trail race. They chose the Tyler Arboretum 10k Trail Race to demonstrate their greatness.

Before the race started Petra threatened to beat Susan on the trail, however it was not to be. Petra and Susan were running neck and neck for one mile and then Susan kicked into a higher gear, sped up and disappeared.

Petra knew that she was not far behind her since she saw that Susan’s footprints in the mud were still fresh. Although the trace was interrupted by four creeks the experienced trail runner picked up the trail every time. In the end Susan finished 4 minutes and 30 seconds ahead.

Chris once again was in great shape. But he has Susan and Petra to thank for advising him to change from tights to shorts. That not only made him aerodynamic, but also the women had a great time watching his sexy calf muscles.

The Wanderers were 100% victorious. Susan finished second in her age group with a time of 1:02:46 followed by Petra with 1:07:16, and Chris received his award for placing third in his age group with a time of 47 minutes and 4 seconds.
