The Wissahickon Trail Classic website offers information about the race as well as the beneficiary of the event: Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers. In addition to the 10k Trail Race (which is part of the USATF Mid-Atlantic Off Road Series), the event will feature a Guided Nature Hike (roughly 5k) for those not looking to race a 10k.
