Join the party and learn more about the fascinating history of the Walnut Lane bridge: how they built it plus what it meant to the communities on either side.
This Saturday Oct 18, they will celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the Walnut Lane Bridge. The bridge will be closed to regular traffic and feature music, exhibits (including old photos and historical information), and other activities.
The local historian David Young has been responsible for getting the bridge fixed up (guard rail, sidewalk and road repairs), publishing a wealth of historical information, plus organizing this weekend’s events.
Please consider attending the event if you can.
