When: Sunday, Oct. 2 8:00 – 9:30 AM
Where: Upper Gwynedd Township Park, North Wales, PA
Description: Participants in the 8-Mile Prediction Trail Run on the beautiful Green Ribbon Trail, a 21-mile wooded, natural trail that follows the Wissahickon Creek from North Wales to the Schuylkill River.
Runners predict their time; remove all timepieces, then run 8-miles to the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s headquarters in Ambler. The 3 runners who most accurately predict their times (within 1.5 hours) will win a gift certificate to the North Wales Running Company for a free pair of running shoes.
Following refreshments and prize awards, runners will be bussed back to their start point.
There is also a 3-mile Fun Trail Run – untimed that begins in Penllyn Park.
