The Technovan is back on the road…just in time for service in the USATF off road series. The Technovan , which has been transporting Wanderers to competitions since the club was founded in 2000, went down this past summer. The engine had simply collapsed from exhaustion.
However, under the expert care of the experienced mechanics at Woodlawn Foreign Auto Service in Germantown, a new engine has been installed, and the Technovan is now rarin’ to go. The loudspeaker is still fully operational.
The van is expected to be pressed into service right away for the Ugly Mudder race on February 22. Polly is taking reservations for seats right now for the race. There are still a few prime seats available. Ugly Mudder reports and photos from previous years: 2008, 2007, and 2006.
The Technovan, in its career, has traveled from Cape Breton in Canada to Michigan as well as throughout the Mid-Atlantic region delivering Wanderers to various races.
